Your camping holiday in the Pyrénées Atlantiques

Established over 60 years ago on one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches, Camping Village Eskualduna is the ideal destination for discovering an exceptional natural environment and a people renowned for being one of the friendliest in the world. Find the mobile home rental in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques or the chalet or pitch rental that suits you best. Whether it’s a simple tent, a modern mobile home or a comfortable chalet, come and enjoy our water park, grocery store, restaurant and Wi-Fi internet access. When you choose camping Eskualduna for your holiday, you’ll be able to explore the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, a unique department in France.

Must-sees in Pyrénées-Atlantiques

The Pyrénées-Atlantiques is a land of contrasts, with snow-capped mountains on one side and verdant plains on the other. This is also true of its dual culture, which influences the lives of its inhabitants: Basque and Bearn. Whether it’s language, traditions, heritage, sports, gastronomy or many other areas, everything differs according to the predominance of culture. Discovering the Pyrénées-Atlantiques is a bit like visiting two countries at once.

There are so many things to do and see in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques that we’ve put together a small selection that’s off the beaten track. You’ll find the department’s must-sees in the “Pays Basque” tab.

To find the most beautiful panorama in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, head to Pau and take the free funicular railway up to the Pyrenees range. A breathtaking place!

The village of Navarrenx, capital of salmon, is the only commune in the Béarn region to have been awarded the “Most Beautiful Villages in France” label. Strolling around the city walls is a real treat.

The Grottes de Bétharram, discovered in 1810, can be visited along a 2.8-kilometre route by small train, boat or on foot. Unforgettable for young and old alike.

Lake Bious Artigues, near the Pic du Midi. If you want to spend a day in unspoilt wilderness, this is the place to be.

The Artouste train, the highest in Europe, offers one of the most exceptional rides above the Soussouéou valley. It’s our favourite!

Villa Arnaga, Edmond Rostand’s former home in Cambo-les-Bains, has become one of France’s finest museums. A visit to the estate offers a glimpse into the life of the author of Cyrano de Bergerac, and 15 hectares of sublime English and French gardens.

Welcome to the Pyrénées-Atlantiques for your camping vacations.

A stay at the 4-star Camping Village Eskualduna in Hendaye is the ideal opportunity to discover all the more or less secret treasures of the Basque Coast. And there are lots of them! Before setting off to explore the Basque Coast, why not treat yourself to an ice cream or a moment of well-being at the Serge Blanco thalassotherapy center, a favorite spot for top sportsmen and women.
